Who are We?
L2 Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome at L2 . Learn more about who we are, what we believe and our core values.
What's in a name?
The L2 Church name was established in 2006 when we re-launched with a new mission and passion for the city of Denver. The "L" stands for "life" and the "2" exponent communicates our desire to live life to the fullest, redeemed by God and surrendered to the mission of Christ.
Where are We?
We are located East of downtown Denver, at Colfax and York. Our address is 1477 Columbine St., Denver, CO 80206. We are just West of the Tattered Cover Book store and Chipotle on Colfax. Easy access from Downtown Denver, Lowry and Stapleton.
When are we here?
Sundays at 10:30 am. Also during the week at various community groups and classes. See our Calendar of Events for more info.
Parking
Parking is free and is available just to the south of the church, as well as to the west in Maaco's parking lots. Maaco is west of the church, and both of their parking lots can be accessed via the alley just west of the church. You may also park in the lot at the southwest corner of 16th and Columbine.
.
What to wear
Wear whatever makes you the most comfortable. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you're not. At the same time, you are welcome to come in your Sunday best if that's what you're used to.
What to expect
We have coffee and refreshments, including fabulous lattes and breakfast treats. People come early to visit and have a drink and then head upstairs to find a seat. The worship team begins with a few songs and then our lead pastor Russ McKendry shares the sermon, or message. This is based on the Bible and is designed to help us understand God, who we are and the world we live in. After the sermon we enter into a time of communion to thank God and remind ourselves of our love and need for Jesus Christ. We finish with a few more songs of worship.
