Our Core Values

Truth – we believe in an absolute epistemology that rests solely on the authority of God’s word interpreted and believed in a humble yet confident way; not constant change of human thought and opinion.

Purpose – we believe that following that truth in the person and work of Jesus enables every human being, irrespective of his past, to experience the glorious purpose for which humanity was created as his entire being is reconciled through Jesus to a righteous God.

Beauty – we believe that God created men in his image (Imago Dei) and as image bearers we have the capacity to not only discern beauty but to also create it. Therefore, we support the advancement of the arts.

Community – we believe that the redemptive work of Jesus enables humanity to experience the community that God intended. As interdependent parts of the body, our greatest accomplishments are realized only as we work together under the Lordship of Jesus.

Worship – we believe that worshiping God is the point of life and history.  God has created us and called us to bring glory to him in everything we think and do.  When we meet for a worship service, we do so to value and express the very reason for existence.
