Welcome to the Kid's Place!

During our 10:30 worship service, we offer childcare for infants and toddlers and Sunday school classes for children aged 2 years through 5th grade. We provide a secure environment for all of our children, and will provide parents of infants and toddlers with a pager so that we can let you know if you are needed.

At L², we seek to teach each child about Christ, helping them to develop a biblical worldview and knowledge of themselves as they grow up. We believe that children can have a powerful relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus and even as children impact their world. We seek to empower children to live Christ-centered missional lives today.

We welcome children of all ability levels in all our classes. A couple of our teachers have extensive experience working with children with special needs and are willing to make the necessary accomodations for any child to participate in our classes and learn about Jesus. If your child has special needs, and you’d like to talk with us before visiting, feel free to contact Alisa Bard.

Here is a little bit about each of our classes:

At L², we have separate classes for infants and toddlers. We seek to foster a warm and loving environment for the youngest members of your family. Infants are welcome in our nursery at 2 months of age. 

Our 2- and 3-year olds are working through the Little Lambs curriculum by FaithAlive Resources. The curriculum consists of a short lesson and play-based activities to reinforce the lesson. A take-home sheet is sent home with parents each week.

Our 4- and 5-year olds are working through the Story Hour curriculum by FaithAlive Resources. This 2-year curriculum consists of a short lesson and several learning activities to reinforce the lesson. A take-home sheet is sent home with parents each week. 

Our elementary students will begin the Walk With Me curriculum by FaithAlive Resources in the fall.
